As a 3/4 sized children's or travel guitar, I'd have to say 3 stars but for the price, I gave it 4 stars. Comes with a nice gig bag, that's a nice accessory to include in with the guitar. It's a very good guitar for children starting out, you don't have to spend for more until you know the child will continue to be serious enough for a higher priced guitar. It's also a very good guitar for travel and lugging around, even for an adult, you don't have to worry too much about damaging a more expensive guitar. You can leave that one at home.

We have the Taylor GS Mini and it is a much better ~ 3/4 - 7/8 sized guitar, but that is also almost double the cost of this one. We chose the GS Mini over this because our child was serious enough to take all the lessons and play on his own, otherwise we would have considered starting him on this Cort Earth.
