I spent a long time in the store comparing this cymbal to every cymbal in the store at all price ranges and this cymbal killed it!
not as loud as some of the heavier crashes but louder and every bit as warm and dark as the more expensive "K" and "HH" cymbals! I feel I bought the best cymbal I could buy!

Reminds me of a 2002 medium but with much more dimension.

Stagg Electric S Solid Body Ukulele - Sunburst w/ Deluxe Gigbag Review

I enjoy playing the Stagg Electric Ukulele. It's solid, has an ok sound, and best of all can be played with headphones. If you are looking for an electic guitar sound, you won't get it from the Stagg (it has a piezo pickup), however, you can use an effects box or other effects device and kind of simulate the rock or blues sound you might be looking for. I'm not sold on the Low and High sliders, they seem to do very little , and the volume has less resolution than I would have liked. You should change the strings, I hate the strings that were included, try some Aquila Nylgut concert size. All in all the Stagg is pretty cool, not high end, but probably not suited for the Ukulele traditionalist. If you are looking for your first Ukulele go with an acoustic to start with they are cheaper and better to learn on.

I started with Cubase 3, many years ago. Cubase 7 is one of Steinberg's best upgrades. Not so much in the recording area, where Cubase has always been excellent, but the production tools advanced significantly. Cubase 6.5, for me, had sever compatibility issues with Windows 8 Pro, which I am running. The upgrade to Cubase 7 fixed all. Also, I did a clean install, with no other version of Cubase on a new Toshiba Laptop running 16Gigs of Ram, knowing that the upgrade depended on my license dongle, not installed software. That is nice, as you get a clean, fresh install, with no carry over glitches. Note: if you do any advanced production on your music 16Gigs of RAM makes a huge difference in the amount of production tools you can utilize concurrently . Good job Steinberg.

Tech 21 Hot Rod Plexi Review

This is without doubt the best overdrive pedal I have ever owned. This pedal will replace many other pedals on my board.

To test this pedal I placed it in my smallest setup. Les Paul --> Hot Rod Plexi --> Egnater Rebel 20 --> 1x12 open back cab with an Eminence Texas Heat. This setup produced a thunderous tone reminiscent of 2x12 and 4x12 stack (depending on tone and thump settings). Using the Guitar's volume knob I was able to go from clean to thick crunch and stepping on the boost I went into ultra gain. if you seek the elusive brown sound, this will do it 100%.

This is the type of pedal you can leave on all the time. I can't say enough good things about this pedal! From blues to rock and hard rock to metal-ish, this pedal covers it all.
