8-PAD Digital Drum Machine with Touch-sensitive Pads Review
I've owned mine for about 6 months now. You really can't beat these for price/sound. I create songs and send them to Garage Band Dot Com and they will comment that the drummer is rather shakey, kinda the Peter Best of the group, or they may say the drums are muffled because I have them too low in the mix, but they never comment that the drums are fake. On an MP3 they sound real. The good and the bad of electronic drums which are sampled is that they have to be mixed pretty high in the song to sound right, but that a problem with electronic drums in general. So, these are not audiophile quality, but, man, they are good enough for blues and rock'n roll. Oh yes, and I beat them with sticks, and the whole unit fell on the floor once, but it keeps working. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "8-PAD Digital Drum Machine with Touch-sensitive Pads" are high quality item.
