Ive had this axe for almost2 years. Thought it desrved a review. Always played fenders, and kinda felt like I wanted something more edgy or metal sounding. I picked this up purely on looks. I got it at guitar center so I was able to play it before bought it.it felt like nothing else. Everyone around me only play ibanez or Gibson/epiphone. This seemed just as cool, but just looks mean.a downside, which is the only I think, when i dive sometimes I get a pop sound. Not to often but every once in a while I'll hear it,I don't dig that. But the guys I jam with hardly catch it. Since I've had it I never got a set up or any tune up. Maybe that would help, not sure. I have change out both pick ups. My bridge Is a xl500, prob the best thing I could have done. After, I put a dime time at the neck, to finish it off. felt like I had to after the Lawrence. Between that set up it really took the guitar up a few notches. The original pick ups were cool, infact I kept them and plan 2use them in a squire or maybe in a fender, they just had a heavy metal/damage plan sound. I wanted more of cowboys from hell sound. But I'm totally happy with it. It's pretty heavy and super awkward but I played fenders so it's a lot bigger.all my buds love playin it, and since I've had it I don't really play my other guitars, I feel like this everything they do and more way better.
