The DT25 head and matching 1x12 cab are just unbelievable. I was looking for a tube amp that had some specific features. Great deep bluesy sound, sounded good at low volume, direct out for computer recording, etc. this amp has all that. What floored me most was the rich full sound. The closed back 12 inch speaker sounds like butter, smooth, clear. I play with both strat single coils and Gibson B.B. King Lucille humbuckers. Both of these provide just endless amounts of tone. I've read where others complain that it's not a true tube amp, hence the hybrid label. Things like " it doesn't sound like a true fender twin. But I can't tell, plus you'd need to own a twin, an ac30' a Mesa boogie, a Marshall and a wide range of other amps to get what you get from this one amp. The ability to connect up to 4 of these together and play in true stereo or dual stereo was wild. Using the link6 connection with hd500 pedal makes this thing nuts. It took me a while to pull the trigger over egnater, or h&k but I'm very glad I did.
