Stagg Electric S Solid Body Ukulele - Sunburst w/ Deluxe Gigbag Review

I enjoy playing the Stagg Electric Ukulele. It's solid, has an ok sound, and best of all can be played with headphones. If you are looking for an electic guitar sound, you won't get it from the Stagg (it has a piezo pickup), however, you can use an effects box or other effects device and kind of simulate the rock or blues sound you might be looking for. I'm not sold on the Low and High sliders, they seem to do very little , and the volume has less resolution than I would have liked. You should change the strings, I hate the strings that were included, try some Aquila Nylgut concert size. All in all the Stagg is pretty cool, not high end, but probably not suited for the Ukulele traditionalist. If you are looking for your first Ukulele go with an acoustic to start with they are cheaper and better to learn on.
