MUSIC HALL - DAC15.2 Review

I picked up one of these at the CES in January '12 to link my MacBook Pro and tube preamp. Using the toslink input with some decent interconnects and playing mostly FLAC files, I'm extremely pleased with the sound- smooth yet very detailed. It's hard to believe I'm listening to a $300 DAC. I haven't played CD's much since I got this unit, but when I do I find myself bypassing the DAC in my "audiophile" CD player and preferring to use the 15.2 through it's optical input instead. I haven't tried the USB input as yet. You can't go wrong with this one.
