Other refinements on this guitar include a laser engraved fire rosette, chrome die-cast tuners, rosewood bridge and fretboard, and Ivorex II nut and saddle for increased sustain and clarity of tone.For plugged-in performance, the Ibanez SPT preamp on the AEF18LE has a 3-band tone control, shape control, and phase switch for feedback reduction. The preamp also features a built-in electronic tuner and both 1/4" and XLR outputs for increased versatility.

My first lefty guitar, and was dismayed by the limited selection at three different music stores for lefty guitars; however, I bought this one and I am so glad I did. Mine is the same guitar, but has a darker finish. I have found that the "carry" of this guitar is exactly the same as a $2000.00 Martin that I compared it to in the "music room", it is easy to play and time will tell how durable it is.. but for now I would recommend this guitar for those that want a good guitar for a very reasonable price.. I love mine.. and if your left handed, BUY A LEFT HANDED GUITAR, it makes all the difference. Really nice little instrument...I would buy it again!!!
