I purchased my 3000 last year,2010.
I have used it to play restaurants,cafes, small parties(inside and outside)etc.. The sound is professional/clear with nice reverb. At times for larger events I wish I had something a little more powerful, but in general, this PA has not let me down.
I liked the idea of the 10" speakers for guitar.I play electric jazz guitar through one channel and backing tracks through another channel. Also at times used a vocalist in another channel.Have not had any major problems with electronics.The mic that comes with the unit sounds professional too. Simple to use and easy to set up and tear down. Volume is sufficent for most small-medium size gigs.It will get you through larger gigs too, if needed.
