I ordered this guitar as a Christmas present for myself after performing a lot of research both online and in-store.As an older guy trying to finally get into playing after putting it off for many years, I wanted something that would be easy to get started on but also last me beyond the beginner stage. I almost bought a "Strat" starter pack, but it seemed to have too little substance (and I didn't want to fight the Black Friday crowds!) I'm glad I waited! Although I wasn't able to handle one of these in person, everything I read online seemed very positive. I got a smokin' deal on "Cyber Friday" and I'm have a blast trying unleash my long dormant Guitar Hero. Tunes up easily, action is pleasantly low and the pick-ups have great tone and volume. Obviously, it's a better guitar than I may ever be a player!
If you're just starting out or looking for something a little different, I highly recommend this guitar.
