This silent violin is a great travel companion now that it works. When I received it the unit didn’t work or worked intermittently. I found that the pickup was not soldered correctly to the amplifier board and it caused it to fail. I contacted the Cecillio Company and eventually with some emailing back and forth, proof of purchase and some other information they sent a new amplifier. I put it all back together, and it works great.
They do not have a great website/page for this product! There is also no owner’s manual that came with this violin, which is an inconvenience and annoyance
