I purchased three of these cases and they seem to be well designed and constructed, except for one thing: they exude a strong, unpleasant chemical odor like turpentine. I suspect that this is being caused by the adhesive that was used to attach the foam liner to the interior of the case. I am hoping that the odor will eventually out-gas by leaving the cases open in a ventilated room for a day or two. But if it doesn't I am going to have to try to get a refund or a replacement. I am concerned not only about being exposed to potentially toxic fumes but also the potential effect this could have long term on the stored vinyl records.
