Finding any reviews on the RSQ HD-787 is nearly impossible, so I decided to post this:

There is more than one way to input music into this player. First you can just play CDG discs like any regular player.

OR You can store CDG discs into the hard drive (but you'll have to input the title and artist manually with the keypad remote).

OR you can create and burn a NEO disc on your computer from MP3-Gs (which is easier to input title and artists on computer keyboard than on remote) using the utility on the website. (A NEO disc holds approx 1000 songs.) Then load the NEO disc into this machine and it will have all the artists and titles on it. You can play it like that, or you can store it into the karaoke hard drive.

OR you can buy either a SATA to USB Dock, or SATA to USB Converter, and use the RSQ Util that is on a CD that comes with the karaoke machine to input song files from your computer directly into the karaoke hard drive. And you can print a song book of all the song files stored in the karaoke hard drive by using the same RSQ Util and either the USB Dock, or USB Converter, and creating a text file.

I just got this karaoke machine and although I haven't tried everything yet, I must say that finding a song is not difficult using the songlist button and choosing artist or song. I hooked it up to my 40" LCD TV and the aux input on my receiver. So far, I like it. It is far better than going through dozens of CDGs trying to find a song each time. One negative though, the manual is sorely lacking. But you can call RSQ Audio or email them (they answer emails right away) and they can help you. Oh, and this machine also stores and plays MP3s and movies, although I personally have no interest in those features.
