This guitar looks great and is solidly built. It comes with the action set for slide work only and the strings it comes with are mammoth. I planed 1/8 " off of the bridge ( invalidating the warranty ) and put light gauge strings on and can play it like a normal guitar now. The output from the pickups is low but going through the p.a. The gain can be increased adequately. The pickups are free of hum and that is good. The special sound of the resonator guitar is worth the price of admission. The tuners are surprisingly precise and smooth.
