Vintage Bliss Series Crash/Ride - 22New Dream Vintage Bliss 22" Crash/Ride Cymbal VBCRRI22 Audio Video Review
I found one of these in New Orleans a couple years ago for $100 used. It was one of those cymbal purchases that you just know is right the first time you hear it. It has quickly become one of the favorite cymbals in my collection, and I've got some high-priced Istanbuls and Constantinople K's. I use it as a left-hand ride for my jazz work. It's extremely washy, with just a hint of trash, and a nice, breathy low tone. The bell sounds great too. Now, I know cymbals are all unique (if they're hand-hammered and worth buying at all), and I haven't heard any other Dream cymbals since. So they may have just been having a good day at the factory when they made mine. But the prices on these are really low compared to similar-sized cymbals from other manufacturers, so it's probably worth the risk. I'm thinking of getting another, just to put rivets in, for a sizzle sound.
