works great with mbp + logic pro x no probs at all. i think it shouldve come with an option to power it by ac adapter, incase you would ever use it strictly midi out to a sound module lets say in a LIVE setting without a laptop/ usb power around. . . . . but other than that, it does what it was made to do. be a usb synth controller. nice !

I liked the fact that it came earlier than the estimated shipping, and it was in brand new condition! (Thanks UPS!)

I would just like to say one thing. The pickups i got were chrome not blacked out. It looks better in my opinion. So it all works out. The guitar sounds great. Wouldn't expect anything less from Schecter. The Duncan pickups have a nice chunky metal chugging sound when you palm mute. Its easy to pull off harmonics, pull offs, and hammer on's with their sensitivity being really good.

the Floyd rose bridge holds the strings very tight. the tuners are extremely accurate. And the string clamps on the head-stock keep the guitar in tune even if you accidently turn the tuners while moving around.

The guitar is definitely made for metal and rock, no doubt about it. But it has a really crisp clean tone, and a very smooth jazz/blues tone.

As long as this guitar is $320 bucks I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.

I bought a version of this keyboard case four years ago to transport an Alesis QS1 keyboard to local jobs. The case is really, really heavy! Even with the wheels, trying to lug the loaded case into venues was difficult. Unless you need flight case protection, look for something lighter and designed to fit your keyboard's actual dimensions.

Note: I had no complaints about the quality of the case or fittings. It's built like a tank.

SKB Injection Molded Cubed Foam Equipment Case (18.5 x 13 x 4.75-Inch) Review

Despite the 2 star rating I am happy with the 18x13x5" version of this case. The hinges are a nice design and are made of glass filled composite. Easy to use and should be very sturdy. The case size is perfect for two pistols plus accessories, and fits in the middle range size that is not common to find. Also has nice foam with two layers being pluck & pull type for a custom layout, and a very comfortable, sturdy handle.

All in all if this was a $60 case it would be a 5 star product all day long. Unfortunately, this is a $120 product and the entire case body is made from a flexible composite that has a lot of give in it in the center. I would not trust it to delicate camera equipment or to get tossed around or ending up at the bottom of a stack of gear.

For this price it should be made of strong/rigid glass filled composite. 2 star rating is purely because of this, for the price this case is not a rigid/sturdy as it should be. It should be half the price or use a better material. Way over priced for the construction.

Sonor Drums SSE 12 SAFARI C1 BGS 4-Piece Drum Set with Black Galaxy Sparkle Finish Review

I just received the natural finish set. WOW! I have been playing drums (in front of people) for well over 42 years. These are unbelievable. The bass drum does thud and not ring when you hit it. Decent bass heads with double ply rings built in. I cut a 4" hole in the front head easier to adjust muffling in Florida weather and humidity.

I sanded the bearing edges on the bass then installed heads. The toms and snare now have tone control rings on them, and I was suprised at the depth and quality of sound. I may be old but I like 70's rock and these can keep up. They would be well suited to jazz, club, rock in any venue, requiring miking only when the room or audience gets larger.

The finish on my set is a wood burl look wrap but absolutely beautiful and the seams are inconspicuous, though they overlap a little. Mounting hardware is Sonor beefy. The bass is jacked up about 3-4" and the rear mount for the pedal is solid also.

Far better made than all other low end drum sets and still less expensive, even after adding hardware.

I ordered this guitar as a Christmas present for myself after performing a lot of research both online and in-store.

As an older guy trying to finally get into playing after putting it off for many years, I wanted something that would be easy to get started on but also last me beyond the beginner stage. I almost bought a "Strat" starter pack, but it seemed to have too little substance (and I didn't want to fight the Black Friday crowds!) I'm glad I waited! Although I wasn't able to handle one of these in person, everything I read online seemed very positive. I got a smokin' deal on "Cyber Friday" and I'm have a blast trying unleash my long dormant Guitar Hero. Tunes up easily, action is pleasantly low and the pick-ups have great tone and volume. Obviously, it's a better guitar than I may ever be a player!

If you're just starting out or looking for something a little different, I highly recommend this guitar.
