Although the instrument is not as set up as one might need to start playing, it is a quality OM and very good for the money. There are no "guarantee" documents or instructions on how to set up the bridge and intone the scale length, so it is assumed you have other sources to know how to begin using the instrument.

The strings are already attached and horribly corroded which means most likely the mando has been sitting for quite some time. As soon as you set up the bridge, your fingers will turn black from the corrosion. No problem, buy some new strings when you purchase it and change them asap.

Meanwhile the tone should yield a nice range of highs and lows and provide a satisfied feeling of playability.

The case is not the greatest quality (the inside compartment cover is not hinged all that well) however it works for protection and fits perfectly. Remember though you don't play the case, so it is fine.

Overall I would recommend this one, Amazon will over package it for safe shipping and send it to you on time.

I've been playing guitar for only 7 years now and felt I needed to add pedal power to my rig. So I'm starting out with this Visual Sound V2 Open Road Overdrive in which I've heard so much about. My order was quickly delivered in a well packed envelope and was received without a scratch, bruise or dent. The first thing I noticed was the heavy duty metal construction and a nice large switch. I setup this pedal and turned it on with all knobs at 12 o'clock. "Blew me away". I love it. I'll be spending the next few weeks in exploring all the setting on this pedal. I'll also be looking into the Chorus pedal they have to offer. I recommend this pedal to those who need a range from mild to crunch. Thanks to the vendor for the quick delivery.

Voodoo Lab GCX Guitar Audio Switcher Review

I use it with the Ground Control Pro, and it works perfect. The buffered input of the guitar is a plus, and the power through midi for the ground control. I am only running 2 cables (midi and my guitar cable) from the front to the back of the stage, so this simplifies things a lot, and no loss of sound quality. Definitely one of the best purchases i made, simplified my setup a lot and with the ground control controlling even my vocal processor, I finally feel i can focus more on enjoying myself on stage and not stressing out!

Vsonic GR07 (Black) Review

I am not sure why they list several different GR07 here on Amazon, but these are the MK II version as well. I got a good deal on mine and they are definitely worth the asking price. I kind of like the GR06 and GR02 better for music though if you do not like to hear all the little details. I actually really enjoyed the GR02 for a while, but I can easily pick out their faults when I compare them to these earphones. These are just fantastic and you will enjoy them for whatever price you pay. Easily competes with the DT990 250 Ohm Premiums I once had. Much cleaner and almost the exact same bass. Don't miss out on these.

YAMAHA PSR-175 Music Keyboard with DJ Voices Review

Before I go on, let me state for the record that I have been playing classical piano for over 15 years, and I bought this keyboard for jamming and multitrack recording (both midi/audio).

First, for those who are confused with the entry level Yamaha portable keyboards, the PSR-175 is almost exactly the same as the PSR-175AD and the PSR-172. The only difference is that the PSR-172 is much more widely available than the 175s. That said, let's analyze the more important features:

Keys: You get what you pay for. 61-keys is quite all right for beginners and for those who want to do some basic multitrack recording. Better players should go for a bigger keyboard, unless you don't mind using the transpose feature. However, I gave this keyboard a low rating because the keys are not truly touch-sensitive. These keys are not sensitive to the amount of force you exert on them -- the volume for each key remains the same regardless of the amount of force you exert on it. Instead, the keys are only sensitive to the length of time that they are depressed (this should have been called a portable organ instead). By playing on this keyboard, you will never be able to develop a feel for a real piano which requires varying amounts of force applied to different keys. Thus I would not recommend this keyboard for serious beginning piano players because it only hurts your musical foundation.

As for the other features, the sound patches are adequate for most users and are rather standardized in similar entry-level keyboards. I have no complaints because most of the main instruments are there and sound decent enough (piano, organs, guitars,wind, drums,etc). There is also an automated drum synthesizer that's been preprogrammed to different music genres (e.g. soul, rock, jazz, blues, etc).

Regarding size and weight, this is a small and light keyboard and I have no trouble carrying it around to jamming sessions.

On a final note, I recommend shelling out a little more (about $50) for the PSR-273, another 61-keyboard which is just one step higher and offers touch response keys that feel and react more like a real piano. A touch response key produces a louder sound when you strike it harder, vice-versa. Further, the PSR-273 is only slightly larger and heavier.

The product is okay, but the tax that i was charged before i could claim it in Germany was not okay by me. I had to pay what i did not want to pay. I think that American Amazon should have a deep understanding with the consumer countries with regards to tax at delivery. This will ensure an overall satisfaction of consumers. I had so much misunderstanding with the custom/clearance office in Germany where i live and use this product. One other thing is, the American Amazon should check, in terms of electronic devices, the voltage and watts of the electricity being used in the consumer country their product is going to. They should make sure to supply also a corresponding current/voltage regulator/trasformer or converter so that the consumer will not run the risk of not using their product or the trouble of having to buy an extra current converter. I had to use batteries because the current in Germany was far lower than what the product should use. After so much search, i did found a converter, but that should not be and it has rendered the cable with which my product came with useless. These things should be looked into.
